The Company has been established in 1972. At the beginning it had operated under the name OBR "BEFAMATEX" as the Research & Development Center of BEFAMA, and since 2002 totally independently under the new name OBR "BELMATEX".

Introducing the new name is related with extension of the scope of operation as a counterparty of Polish and foreign manufacturers of textile products.
We offer textile machinery, equipment and processes, we complete process lines in cooperation with our foreign counterparties. OBR "BELMATEX" relies on many year's textile tradition of the Bielsko-Biala region.

OOur machinery operates at many Polish and foreign textile manufacturers, and at the recognized research and development centers.
Our Company includes the following plants:
Textile Machinery and Equipment Plant,

Textile Machinery Research & Development Plant,

Textile Products Research & Production Plant.

We specialize in machinery and processes for:
production of non-wovens, yarns and slivers,

preparation of raw materials for carding process,
